  1. West's 2S bid is sound as he may find a 4-4 fit. Its debatable whether a 4-4 fit should be played or a 6-2, there are advantages/disadvantages to both. However over East's 3NT he should bid 4H. East has a max so it is good to show it with the jump. While 3NT can work well at MPs, at teams 4H is safer as u know there is at least a 5-3 fit.
