  1. 2H by East should show a good 5 card suit with additional values. TOD would be better here as too strong for a 1NT overcall. West shouldn't invite (probably need another A to consider inviting).

    X by East is TOD. With a weak hand West should not pass this. West should bid 2H indicating a weakish hand (<=8 points).

  3. Hi. I am a little surprised u went to 4H. Wouldn't 3H describe this hand? West and South have about say ~8hcp between them, so west on average will have a ~4hcp. West has two good features, extra trump length and AD so should accept the invite. East's hand has the AKS which while they will take 2 tricks unless ruffed, don't contribute to setting side suits up. Against that East minor suit values can be upgraded as they "sit over" North's opening bid

    1. I think 3H is ok too. I thought it was close. I just did a rough simulation and even when I constrained partner to be five or fewer hcp game was still better than 50%. So it depends a little on what you perceive partner will go on with if you just bid 3H.
