    West has 10hcp, good 5 card trump suit and singleton opposite pard's suit, so is going to get some ruffs. west is worth at least an invite. Some partnerships play a change suit here as a long suit game try so east with a singleton knows he has ruffing values so should accept. Others play short suit game trys so pard can identify whether he has wasted values. If playing either, a raise to 3S then shows more scattered values interested in game
